August Artist in Residence Willow Wing

We are delighted to welcome Willow Wing as our August Artist in Residence at Malahat SkyWalk. Based in Victoria, BC, Willow is an abstract painter and designer whose work explores landscape, florals, memory, and emotion through rich layers of acrylic, oil sticks, and mixed media.

Her paintings are expressive, atmospheric, and deeply felt — capturing impressions of places, fleeting moments, and the quiet pull of something just out of reach. Inspired by what is lost, left behind, or remembered, her work invites viewers to hold onto a feeling long after the moment has passed.

With a background in painting, drawing, curation, psychology, and teaching, Willow brings both depth and intuition to her practice. She believes art belongs in both our public and personal spaces, and throughout her residency, guests are invited to experience that belief firsthand.
