Set your intentions, slow your pace, and begin the year with a different kind of wellness experience. Coastal Forest Bathing at Malahat SkyWalk is a self-guided forest immersion designed to help you reset, reflect, and reconnect—with the land, the sky, and yourself.
High above the Salish Sea, you’ll move gently through a coastal forest of Arbutus and Douglas fir, breathe in crisp ocean air, and find stillness at the summit of our iconic Spiral Tower.
This isn’t a workout or a race; it’s a chance to trade urgency for presence and let the forest quietly support your reset.
What to Expect
Your experience begins at the Welcome Centre, where you’ll check in with your day ticket or Annual Pass. From there:
Warm up with a complimentary hot tea from our friends at Queen Bee Farms to mark the start of your Coastal Forest Bathing journey.
Receive your Coastal Forest Bathing Guide, filled with simple reflections, prompts, and gentle suggestions to help you move through the forest with intention.
Stroll the elevated TreeWalk, inviting in the sounds, scents, and textures of the coastal forest at your own pace.
Ascend the Spiral Tower and pause at the summit to set your intentions “from the sky”—a quiet moment to consider what you’d like to welcome more of in the season ahead.
Wander down Luke’s Lane and follow our Affirmation Trail, where thoughtful messages encourage calm, gratitude, and renewed perspective.
Conclude your experience with 20% off wellness-focused items at the Forest Finds Gift Shop, so you can carry a small reminder of your time on the mountain back into everyday life.
Plan for approximately 90 minutes, moving as slowly or as steadily as feels right for you.
The Benefits of Coastal Forest Bathing
Coastal Forest Bathing is designed as a gentle reset—accessible, grounding, and deeply restorative. Guests often share that they feel:
Calmer and more centred, with a noticeable release of day-to-day stress
More present and focused, after time away from screens and routine
Reconnected to the coastal landscape, through intentional, sensory-based exploration
Inspired and clear-headed, especially after setting intentions at the Spiral Tower summit
There’s no “right” way to do it. You simply show up, slow down, and let the forest and sky offer their own kind of quiet support.
