This summer, Flight Path: A Summer Birding Series transforms Malahat SkyWalk into a celebration of birds, beauty, and discovery.

Beginning July 9, guests can enjoy live raptor education Thursday through Sunday, while birding activities and experiences continue all seven days a week with guided walks, photography sessions, family-friendly programming, art, and expert talks.

From quiet moments in the forest to awe-inspiring encounters overhead, Flight Path is your invitation to explore, learn, and connect with the wild rhythms of the season.

Live Raptor Education

The Raptors will be onsite as the headline experience of the series, offering guests the chance to see birds of prey up close and learn more about local species, habitats, and conservation.

Guided Birding Walks

Join birding experts and partner organizations for guided walks designed to help guests spot, identify, and better understand the birds that move through this region.

Junior Birder Passport

Young explorers can take part in bird-themed activities, scavenger hunts, colouring, and conservation prompts as they work their way through the series.

Creative Birds Activity

Slow down, get creative, and paint local bird species inspired by the natural beauty all around you.

Wine Month Starts Here!

Join us July 29 for the Cowichan Valley Wine Festival KickOff at Malahat SkyWalk — 11 wineries, sparkling pours, seasonal bites, and sunset views above the trees.
