A veteran of Western Canada’s alt-country scene, JML plays rootsy originals and cover songs from the likes of Lightfoot, Prine, Dylan, and Earle that are all infused with his own grit, humour, and heart.

Whether he's rolling out a foot-stomping barnburner or a tender ballad that hits you square in the feelings, JML connects through the universal stuff like love, loss, work, wanderlust. His live sets are equal parts easygoing charm and emotional depth, delivered with a trusty old Tinker guitar and a voice that feels like home.
