July Artist in Residence Adam Bartosik

We’re excited to welcome Adam Bartosik as our newest Artist in Residence, bringing his imaginative world of pen and ink to life onsite at the Welcome Centre.

Based in Victoria, BC, Adam is known for his intricate illustrations inspired by the Pacific Northwest — from the rhythms of the ocean to the creatures and characters of coastal forests.

His work blends wonder, detail, and a touch of humour, creating whimsical black-and-white drawings and select painted pieces that feel both timeless and full of personality. During his residency, guests are invited to stop by, watch Adam at work, and experience the creative process as it unfolds in real time.
