The Island’s craft scene is taking the high road.

For one day this October, some of Vancouver Island’s standout breweries and cideries are heading up the Malahat for an afternoon of exceptional pours, laid-back beats, and fall festivities.

SkyWalk Brewfest brings ten Island producers together at Malahat SkyWalk, each pouring a selection of craft beer and cider surrounded by the colours, flavours, and unmistakable atmosphere of fall.

More Than a Great Pour

The beer and cider may bring you here, but there is plenty more happening throughout the afternoon:

• DJ Island Rob: Lo-fi beats laid-back house music from 11 AM–4 PM
• Music Trivia: Two lively rounds hosted by DJ Island Rob at 1 PM and 2:30 PM
• Design Your Own Beer Label: Create an original label at River’s design station - prizes awarded for best designs
• Lawn and Pub Games: Drop in and play throughout the festival
• Fall Flavours: Delicious seasonal food available for purchase
• Full Fall Atmosphere: Pumpkins and seasonal displays throughout the experience

How To Experience The Festival

SkyWalk Brewfest takes place at Tower Plaza and that is where guests aged 19+ can purchase a festival wristband for $20, which includes four (4) tasting tokens.

• One token can be exchanged for one tasting sample
• Additional tokens are available for $2 each
• Wristbands and tokens will be sold at the festival station at Tower Plaza
• Valid government-issued photo identification is required
• Regular Malahat SkyWalk admission is required to access the festival

Take the High Road—We’ll Drive

Return transportation packages are available from both Victoria and Cowichan Valley, so you can enjoy the afternoon without thinking about the drive home.

The $89.95 + tax transportation package includes:

• Return transportation from your chosen location
• Admission to Malahat SkyWalk
• SkyWalk Brewfest wristband and 4 tasting tokens

Space is limited and advance booking is required. Guests should arrive at their selected pick-up location at least 15 minutes before departure.

Victoria Shuttle

• Pick-up and drop-off: Capital City Station
• Pick-up: 11 AM
• Return shuttle departs Malahat SkyWalk: 4 PM

Cowichan Shuttle

• Pick-up and drop-off locations: Cowichan Visitor Centre & Country Grocer
• Pick-up: 11 AM
