MEET THE ARTIST

Tyler James Johnson is a guitarist, songwriter, and heartfelt performer based in Victoria, BC. His musical journey began at age 12 with a dusty guitar and a deep dive into his dad’s record collection and he’s been chasing melodies ever since. From early days in Edmonton to collaborations across Canada, Tyler has honed his voice as both a solo artist and the frontman of local band “Second Fiddle.”

Drawing influence from folk, rock, country, Celtic, blues and beyond, Tyler’s sound is eclectic, emotional, and always grounded in story. His latest album, Songs For Everyone, produced by Leeroy Stagger, is a love letter to the honest moments that shape us. Whether strumming solo or bending strings with the band, Tyler brings soul and substance to the stage.
