Summer has finally arrived and that can mean only one thing: It’s time to seize the day (and night). From live music to sweet treats, and yoga classes at elevation, we have a calendar of exciting summer events and activities lined up for the whole family. Just 30 minutes outside of the city, Malahat SkyWalk is one of the top things to do in Greater Victoria this summer. With extended hours and a new shuttle from Downtown Victoria, experiencing the magic is more convenient than ever. Find out what’s in store.
Bands, Brews, & Views
Let your hair down and dance as dusk descends on the land, with live music every Saturday evening from 4pm to 6pm at The Tower Plaza. Taste local brews and other curated Canteen refreshments and get your dance on with the stunning Salish Sea and naturescape as your backdrop. Feel the rhythm all summer long with an eclectic weekly line-up of free concerts, from foot stompin’ fiddling to rock, folk and pop. Circle September 2 in your calendar so you don’t miss the beloved Tragically Hip cover band, Nautical Disaster.
Asana Above the Trees

Sun salutations are more blissful when you’re closer to the sky. Join us for early morning yoga sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. (Gates open at 9 am for others).The yoga classes take place at the top of our magnificent Spiral Tower, with Insta-worthy views of the Salish Sea. Inhale fresh, salty air as you salute the sea from your perch at 250 m above sea level. A yoga workout overlooking the ocean is the perfect way to realign your chakras and start your day off with a positive mindset—and a brag worthy experience to boot. Malahat SkyWalk passholders receive free yoga classes. Tickets are $38.95 for non-passholders and include access to the entire SkyWalk experience for the day.
Killing It Softy
This season just got a whole lot tastier with the arrival of Softys, a delicious dairy-free soft serve shop that's a favourite with Islanders. The boutique treat shop makes Softys from gluten free oat and coconut milk, making for a creamy, dreamy, silky smooth treat for adventurers of all ages. Stop by the Tower Plaza at the base for daily good vibes and a delicious treat before or after you head up the spiral ramp. There’s only one rule: don’t bring your Softys on the slide—trust us on that one.
Carefree Cruising in our New Victoria Shuttle

Getting here from Victoria is a breeze. As one of Greater Victoria’s top attractions, it’s only fitting that we now have a brand new shuttle bus from Victoria to the SkyWalk. The summer shuttle is free and runs from downtown Victoria with 3 pickup locations about every 2 hours throughout the day. No reservations required and guests can just walk on the shuttle they would like to take.

Calling all summer revelers and sun worshipers. Now you can embrace those deliciously long days with our extended summer hours. Whether you’re an early bird, a crack of nooner, or an evening adventurer, we’ll be open from 9am to 8pm daily, serving up expansive views, moments of pure serenity, and maybe a cocktail or two.

If you’ve caught feelings for the SkyWalk, then you’re in luck. Now you can come as much as you’d like with an annual pass. Get your Malahat SkyWalk annual pass and enjoy one whole year of awesome for the price of just three visits. The Malahat SkyWalk pass includes a 20% discount on retail, food and drinks in the Café, and discounted tickets for friends. What’s more, you will receive a 20% discount on other exciting attractions including the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish and the Royal BC Museum in Victoria.
