Malahat SkyWalk is designed so more people can experience a true coastal forest-to-sky escape with fresh air, big views, and a smooth journey from start to summit.
The SkyWalk route
TreeWalk & Spiral Tower
A steady, low-gradient pathway takes you from the TreeWalk all the way up to the top of the Spiral Tower.
Suitable for most strollers and wheelchairs, with room to move at your own pace.
Nature Trail & optional return trail
These routes are more rugged and may be less suitable for mobility devices due to terrain.
Parking and Arrival
Designated accessible parking stalls are located at the end of the parking lot closest to the Welcome Centre. Connect with our Guest Services team upon arrival who would be happy to help with questions and route guidance.
Our free Downtown Victoria shuttle helps equity-deserving groups access the SkyWalk when transportation is a barrier.
Washrooms and comfort
Accessible washrooms are available at both the Welcome Centre and Tower Plaza.
Free Joni period product dispensers are available on site to support guest comfort and dignity.
Mobility Supports
Complimentary wheelchairs
Available free of charge, first-come, first-served.
Mobility scooter rentals (seasonal)
In partnership with City Wide Scooters, we offer mobility scooters for rent seasonally.
$35 + tax for a two-hour rental, first-come, first-served.
Scooters are not available during winter and typically return in spring.
Approved Service Animals
Malahat SkyWalk is not pet-friendly, to protect the coastal forest and resident wildlife
BC-certified guide and service dogs are welcome.
Therapy and emotional support animals are not considered service animals in BC and are not permitted.
Please check in with Guest Services on arrival so we can support your visit smoothly.
