What to know about pets and service dogs
Protecting the coastal forest
Malahat SkyWalk is a coastal forest-to-sky escape, and we’re committed to keeping this ecosystem healthy for the wildlife that lives here and the guests who come to experience it. For that reason, pets are not permitted on the SkyWalk.
Service dogs are welcome
We warmly welcome BC-certified guide dogs and service dogs as essential companions. Please note that in British Columbia, therapy and emotional support dogs are not considered service dogs and are not permitted on site.
Arriving with a service dog
Because the forest is home to resident wildlife, we ask that guests with a BC-certified service dog check in with Guest Services upon arrival.
Once credentials and identification (documentation and vest) are verified, we’ll provide a Service Dog pass to help our team support you throughout your visit and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
Accessible by design, made for all
The TreeWalk is built with accessibility in mind, with a wide, steady boardwalk suited to most strollers and mobility devices. Take it at your own pace, with space to pass, pull over, and soak in the coastal forest from a new height.
