The Columbia Black-Tailed Deer, an herbivore in the middle of the food chain, is a fascinating creature. Known for their agility, these deer have a unique way of communicating - they stomp their feet when alarmed. They also have a peculiar trait where the colour of their coat changes from reddish-brown in summer to grayish-brown in winter, a remarkable adaptation to the changing seasons.
