Happy Camper & The Gathering Place
An outdoor space made for gathering. Located right by the washrooms and Gift Shop, it’s the perfect place to relax, meet up, or fuel up before your walk. Happy Camper is your pre-adventure pick-me-up. They're serving locally roasted Drumroaster Coffee, crispy churros, and frosty lemonade to kickstart your visit with a smile. Whether you're chasing caffeine, craving a sweet treat, or just looking for a shady spot to sit, this is the place to pause before you soar.

Step Into the Woods: Driftwood Sculptures
Ready to start exploring? Step into the trees and discover stunning driftwood sculptures by Vancouver Island artist Tanya Bub. Each piece is crafted from wood shaped by the wind and waves transformed into a lifelike creature that blends beautifully with the surrounding forest. Keep your eyes peeled for Tanya’s work throughout the site. You never know what’s hiding in the trees…

TreeWalk
This 600-metre (1,968 ft) elevated boardwalk rises 20 metres (65 ft) above the forest floor, threading its way through the treetops of a stunning Arbutus and Douglas Fir forest. Experience the forest like never before: up in the canopy. Surrounded by branches, swaying moss, and shifting light, you’ll feel immersed in the upper world of the forest.
Look out, look down and look around. This is where perspectives change. From above, you’ll notice the different layers of the forest from the way lichen moves with the breeze to the subtle shift in textures from trunk to canopy.

Play Your Way Through the Trees
It’s not just a walk, it’s an adventure. Along the route, you’ll find interactive stops that invite you to slow down, play, and connect. Test your skills on the giant log maze as you guide a marble through twists and turns carved from cedar. Challenge your crew to a round of oversized Connect 4 or classic Tic Tac Toe. Snap a pic at our larger-than-life selfie stations and make a memory worth framing. These playful moments are tucked throughout the experience. Nature isn’t just beautiful, it’s fun.

Spiral Tower
With a gentle incline and no stairs required to climb, the Spiral Tower invites you to stroll your way upward. As you rise, each turn offers a brand new perspective. You'll see an ever changing view of the forest, the ocean, the mountains, and the elegant architecture all around you. Take your time, soak it in, and notice the craftsmanship that makes this 10-storey structure feel like it grew right out of the land.

360° Viewing Platform
Step out onto the tower top platform and take in 360 degrees of Vancouver Island’s natural wonder. This is one of the most breathtaking panoramic views on Vancouver Island. See Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, the Saanich Peninsula, and islands in two countries. it’s the kind of view you’ll be thinking about long after you’ve come down.
It’s also a perfect photo opportunity. Capture that iconic, windswept, standing-above-the-trees moment that shows off your adventure and the beauty of the island in one frame. Snap a selfie, line up the landscape shot, or just take a quiet moment to soak it all in. However you capture it, it’s one for the memory books.

Adventure Net
Walk in the sky… seriously. Suspended high above the forest at the top of the Spiral Tower, the 84㎡ Adventure Net gives you a see-through, heart-racing look straight down through the tower’s spiraling center. Not for the faint of heart, but a must-try for the brave.

A Story in Every Direction
Our interpretive signage turns this moment into more than just a view. Like a mini open-air museum, each panel reveals a piece of the land’s story: its wildlife, geography, and deep cultural history. It’s an invitation to look closer, learn something new, and feel more connected to the place beneath your feet.

Spiral Slide
Coming down our world-famous 20-metre (66 ft) Spiral Slide is a legendary thrill you won’t want to miss.
If you can ride solo, and you’re taller than 42 inches, then grab a slide mat, tuck your feet, and zoom your way down to the forest floor.
Your ticket means unlimited rides, so why stop at one? Some guests have even managed 50 in a single day! Challenge accepted?

Cantilevered Viewpoint
Perched at ground level, this viewpoint extends out in front of the Spiral Tower, offering a fantastic spot to watch your crew enjoying the heights above. It’s a great place to share a moment, snap some photos, or just soak in the forest vibes while keeping your feet on solid ground.

Tower Plaza
This is where energy meets ease. Let the kids loose on the nature-inspired playground, test your balance on the slackline, or sink into a forest hammock and soak it all in. Games like the Collabrynth and a seasonal firepit make it a chill hangout for all ages.
It’s also a great regrouping spot. Some can relax under an umbrella while others head back up the Tower for another round. With live music, raptors, and bubbles in the air on special event days, there’s always a reason to linger.

The Canteen & Softy’s
Refuel without leaving the action. Located in Tower Plaza, The Canteen serves up smash burgers, George’s famous chili, pizza by the slice, hot dogs, and more. Sip a frosty slushy, an espresso drink, or a locally crafted cider while you kick back on the patio.
Craving something sweet? Head next door to Softy’s for soft-serve that’s 100% dairy-free and gluten-free. Choose a classic cone, a specialty sundae, or a float and treat yourself mid-adventure.

Luke's Lane
This 800-metre gravel nature trail winds through a mixed coastal rainforest and invites you to slow down. With an interactive scavenger hunt (just scan the QR codes) and plenty of places to pause, reflect, and connect, Luke’s Lane is a gentle reminder that nature doesn’t rush and so neither should we. You can loop back to the Tower Plaza for another go down the Spiral Slide or continue to the Welcome Centre to wrap up your visit.

Finish Where You Started
Back at the Welcome Centre, grab a road snack from Happy Camper, hit the washrooms, and find the perfect locally made keepsake from the Gift Shop. From handcrafted jewelry to artwork and textiles, many created by local artists, it’s our way of sharing the beauty and culture of this place with you.
