Safety is of utmost priority at Malahat SkyWalk

Please note the following safety information to inform your visit.

  • With the purchase of an Annual Pass, guests are required to complete and agree to our ​​Release Of Liability, Waiver Of Claims, Assumption Of Risks And Indemnity Agreement.
  • With the purchase of a Single Admission Day Ticket, guests are required to agree to Occupiers Liability Act.

Assumption of Risk Information:

While visiting, it is important to note all risks, dangers and hazards, including but not limited to, walking on the Elevated Walkway or the Spiral Tower; slips, trips and falls; loss of balance or control; sudden and unexpected changes in weather conditions; exposed rock, earth, ice, and other natural objects; trees, tree wells; tree stumps and forest deadfall; the condition of snow or ice on or beneath the surface; variations in the terrain which may create blind spots or areas of reduced visibility; variations in the surface or sub-surface; variable and difficult conditions; streams, creeks and ravines; cliffs; hazards on or adjacent to the trails; rockfall; road-banks or cut-banks; collision with natural and other obstacles; collision with other persons; encounters with domestic and wild animals including cougars and bears; equipment failure; negligent first aid; negligence of other persons; and negligence on the part of the releases.
