Malahat SkyWalk Takes Family Day Weekend to New Heights with Adventure, Thrills & Endless Fun

MALAHAT, BC (February 4, 2025) - For families wanting to elevate their experiences together and up the fun factor this Family Day weekend, Malahat SkyWalk is the ultimate destination. Kicking off on Valentine’s Day, this award-winning attraction is pulling out all the stops with special food selections, exciting activities, and thrilling outdoor adventures. Visitors will also enjoy all the things that make Malahat SkyWalk an unforgettable Vancouver Island experience including, a serene stroll through the treetops on the elevated TreeWalk and the stunning west coast views from the awe-inspiring Spiral Tower. From February 14 - 17, guests can take advantage of big savings with 50% off the cost of admission. There is no better time for families and loved ones to spend quality time together, create new memories, and explore something truly unique in nature.

During the Family Day weekend from February 14 - 17, Malahat SkyWalk will be launching its new Happy Camper cart. Stationed near the Gift Shop, it will offer fresh and warm churros, along with specially brewed Drumroaster coffee, a local Cobblehill favourite. At the Tower Plaza, The Canteen will be sizzling with one-of-a-kind smash burgers, arguably the best on Vancouver Island. There will also be a cozy outdoor fire pit, the perfect gathering place for families to sit back, connect, and take in the sounds of live music from local artists including An&Ben, Woodstick and Peter McMaster. The long weekend festivities would be not complete without a visit by Luke, the resident Sasquatch. Catch a rare glimpse of him throughout the experience or along the newly enhanced Luke’s Lane trail.

From beginning to end, Malahat SkyWalk is a place where memories are made.Fully accessible for all abilities, the attraction offers something that every member of the family can enjoy. Set high amongst the treetops, the elevated TreeWalk is an immersive outdoor experience that winds through the towering arbutus and Douglas fir forest. Interpretive stations along the way offer visitors a lesson in nature, culture, and history of the area. The star attraction is the architecturally stunning 10-storey Spiral Tower (250 metres above sea level), where visitors can take in unstoppable views of the stunning west coast scenery from every level. The adventure continues at the top of the tower with a walk along the 84-metre Adventure Net and the thrilling spiral slide - the most fun way to get down.
